Name: Maxi
Breed: Greyhound
Age: Unknown, Rescue
Reason for Hydrotherapy
Elbow Fusion
Maxi came to England from Cyprus through a greyhound rescue charity. When he arrived it was clear to see he had severe leg injuries. The worst affected leg was operated on a by Supervet Noel at Fitzpatrick Referrals, fusing the elbow joint. When he had the all clear from surgery he started swimming at Bluewaters. A real character he much preferred cuddles to swimming and every session rolled back into Julie’s arms for a fuss! He also had a number of sessions in the underwater treadmill. He has now found a lovely ‘fur-ever’ home – we wish him all the best. Please watch the Supervet at Christmas episode to watch his full story. More information about the rescue charity who took care of him can be found on the Birmingham Greyhound Protection website.
