Scooby started swimming at Bluewaters in May following the diagnosis of a DM which causes progressive hind limb paralysis and muscle wastage. Scooby is a very special boy who tries to carry on at 100mph despite being not able to use his back legs on land. In the pool he is weightless and works all of his legs well – he loves chasing his favourite squeaky toy. His owners have found a cart to use for walkies and his weekly swim sessions are helping keep him strong and active.
